SELF-ELEVATING DRILLING

The complex consists of two self-elevating floating structures: a
drilling unit (self-elevating drilling unit) and a service unit, each
being an independent construction installation, which:

simplifies leaving out the complex components from the shipyard water area,
makes the lifting machinery and its components twice as many serial;
requires tugs of less power capacity to tow each separate platform;
makes the accommodation module with power facilities positioned
far from explosion-hazard zones and area of derrick possible fall.
