Deep Un Manned Jack Up Barge

This is a flat deck barge with raked ends and
sides. Eighteen separate void spaces around perimeter of barge, eight
watertight centre spaces, one utilized for machinery and the rest considered
void / storage spaces. Barge is equipped with six jack-up legs each
142’00†x 34†O.D. spuds operated through a series of hydraulic rams and wedge
locks for raising and lowering the barge.
Each leg is fitted with a 16’00†hexagonal pad which rests on the bottom
of the lake when barge is in the raised position.
Electrical power is supplied by two 125 kW Alternators
driven by 671 GM Diesel Engine naturally aspirated prime movers, all supplying
600 Volts at 60Hz. Forward generator is
coupled to a power take off Model: PTA – 14144 driving two Dowty size 240 pumps
supplying hydraulic pressure for jack up spud operation. An ONAN RS 12000 Generator Set is fitted on
the main deck port side forward along with solar panels used in conjunction for
charging batteries for the Caterpillar Natural Gas compressor controls and beacon
/ navigation light systems.
12 ton cherry picker is included (derated to
8 ton due to not having to certify operators).
(Midship located on the centreline landed on
a 2’00†x 9†flanged steel raft is Caterpillar Model 3512 rad cooled prime
mover driving a Natural Gas Generator utilized as a transfer station when
vessel is in operation. This generator is not included but can be
purchased and left in place.)
Vessel is fitted with 1 – 2000
gallon diesel oil bunker tank and 2 – 420 gallon service tanks
